I’ve found keeping it as an address book the most common reason people still hang on. For me, even that was too much and as much as I convinced myself that I needed it I still never really used it.

Anyway, maybe Facebook takes a page from Medium and bases it on interaction, except without the paywall? Surely, Facebook with all its money could commit to something like that.
